Disclaimer
1. Educational purposes only
The calculators, articles, FAQs, infographics, and other content available at calculators.ph and in our mobile applications are provided strictly for educational and informational purposes. They are designed to help Filipinos understand how Philippine tax tables, social contribution schedules, loan formulas, billing tariffs, and similar calculations work — not to replace consultation with a qualified expert who knows your specific situation.
2. No professional advisory relationship
Using this Service does not create any professional relationship between you and MalachiSoft Inc. We are not your:
- Tax accountant or BIR-accredited tax practitioner
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Lawyer or law firm
- Financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary
- Insurance agent
- OB-GYN, physician, or licensed medical professional
- Real estate broker
- HR consultant or labor lawyer
Nothing on this Service should be construed as professional advice. Always engage a licensed professional whose accreditation you can verify with the relevant Philippine regulatory body (BOA for accountants, IBP for lawyers, PRC for medical and other professionals, SEC for investment advisors, etc.).
3. Accuracy is not guaranteed
We work hard to keep figures current, but tax rates, government contribution tables, LGU ordinances, bank lending rates, and utility tariffs change frequently — sometimes monthly, sometimes mid-year via executive issuance. By the time you read a calculator’s result, the underlying rate may already have been updated by the issuing agency.
Verify every figure with the official source before acting on it:
- For income tax: the BIR website or your accredited tax practitioner
- For SSS contributions and benefits: the SSS website or My.SSS portal
- For PhilHealth: the PhilHealth website or your nearest LHIO
- For Pag-IBIG: Pag-IBIG Fund portal or branch
- For real property tax (amilyar): your City or Municipal Treasurer’s Office
- For utility bills (Meralco, Maynilad, etc.): your provider’s monthly statement
- For loan rates: the actual loan estimate issued by your lender
- For remittance rates: the live quote in the provider’s app at send time
- For pregnancy due dates and prenatal care: a licensed OB-GYN
4. Calculator-specific limitations
4.1 Tax calculators (BIR Income Tax, VAT, Capital Gains, Donor’s Tax)
Our tax calculators use the published BIR TRAIN Law brackets, current as of the calculator’s “Updated” date. They do not consider every possible exemption, deduction, or special tax regime that may apply to your case (8% gross income tax option, OSD, itemized deductions, BMBE, PEZA, etc.). Your actual BIR liability depends on your filing status, dependents, income mix, and other factors. Engage a CPA or BIR-accredited tax practitioner for actual returns.
4.2 Social contribution calculators (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, GSIS)
Contribution tables shown reflect the latest published schedules. Voluntary contribution levels, retroactive payments, condonation programs, and special members’ rules (OFWs, kasambahay, voluntary members) may produce different amounts. For benefit eligibility and actual payable contributions, log into your agency’s official portal.
4.3 Loan calculators (Car Loan, Housing Loan, Online Loan, Credit Card)
Amortization figures assume the inputs you enter are accurate and that the lender uses a standard reducing-balance or add-on method as selected. Actual loan offers from banks and lending apps differ because of fees, insurance bundling, documentary stamps, late payment charges, and creditworthiness-based rate adjustments. Always request a written Loan Estimate from your prospective lender before committing.
4.4 OFW Remittance Calculator
Provider fees and FX margins are estimates based on typical 2025-2026 figures. Live rates and fees in the actual remittance app at the time of sending are authoritative. Promotional rates, first-transfer waivers, corridor-specific surcharges, and recipient-side bank fees can differ from our model.
4.5 Real Property Tax (Amilyar) Calculator
RPT rates vary by LGU ordinance. Our presets reflect publicly known rates as of the calculator’s update date, but city councils periodically amend their tax codes. Senior citizen, PWD, and amnesty discounts vary by LGU and by year. Always verify your final assessment with your City or Municipal Treasurer’s Office before paying.
4.6 Pregnancy Due Date Calculator
Estimates are based on the standard Naegele’s Rule used by OB-GYNs worldwide, but the calculator is not a substitute for an actual ultrasound dating scan and clinical examination by a licensed obstetrician. Only an OB-GYN can confirm a viable pregnancy, monitor fetal development, and determine the medically appropriate due date for your specific case.
4.7 Bill calculators (Meralco, Aircon, Fuel)
Output estimates are based on the wattage / fuel-economy assumptions stated on each calculator page. Actual bills depend on rate changes from ERC-approved tariff adjustments, time-of-use schedules, contracted rates, and your device’s real-world efficiency. Your monthly statement is the authoritative figure.
4.8 Investment calculators (Compound Interest, Crypto Profit)
Investment calculators are mathematical models. They do not account for inflation, taxes on investment gains, market volatility, exchange downtime, custody risk, or any of the real-world frictions that affect actual returns. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Cryptocurrencies and stocks can lose value rapidly. Consult an SEC-registered financial advisor before making any investment decision.

6. Third-party data and links
We link to third-party websites (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, bank portals, remittance services, etc.) for your convenience. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of those sites. We are not responsible for changes they make to their content, products, or services after we link to them.
7. Not affiliated with government agencies
8. Regional and currency scope
The Service is designed primarily for users in the Philippines. Calculations assume Philippine peso (₱) currency, Philippine tax law, Philippine social-security schedules, and Philippine LGU jurisdictions. If you are using the Service from outside the Philippines, the results may have no practical applicability to your local tax or social system.
9. Changes to this Disclaimer
We may update this Disclaimer as we add new calculators, new content categories, or in response to changes in Philippine law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
