About ILPI (Iligan Light and Power)
Iligan Light and Power, Inc. is the privately-owned electric distribution utility serving Iligan City in Lanao del Norte, Northern Mindanao. It supplies power to over 60,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
ILPI sources electricity from the Mindanao grid via National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) transmission. Its rates are regulated by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) under RA 9136 (EPIRA).
Because ILPI is on the Mindanao grid, its rates typically run 10-15% lower per kWh than Meralco, though generation cost varies with fuel prices.
